A Different Way to Learn

Rohit Agarwal and Andrew Joseph co-founded TenMarks to create a different way for students to learn — one that focuses on the student's individual needs. The idea for TenMarks originated at a dining room table, when Rohit discovered that his niece, a 7th grader, didn't believe she needed to learn ratios because her class had moved on to studying probability. Andrew, meanwhile, was struggling to find engaging math enrichment choices for his daughters that not only provided support but also aligned with what was happening at their school.

Our mission is simple — to help every student improve their outcomes — and we're committed to delivering. We offer an adaptive curriculum that's interactive and engaging, takes advantage of new technologies, and caters to the ever-changing world of student expectations and behavior. Our mission is to positively impact the lives of 20 million students over the next five years — a tall order, we know, but we are a passionate group of people!

TenMarks is located in San Francisco, where unbeatable energy surrounds innovation and technology, and outside Boston, where education is a religion. We work hard to bring to life our creative ideas to help improve teacher effectiveness and student outcomes. We are excited to be part of an education revolution, focused on helping all students build a strong foundation, leading to a stronger future.

TenMarks is backed by amazing advisors — passionate individuals who care deeply about helping students and teachers succeed, and world-class investor partners who've built extraordinary companies in the education and Internet domains. Their insights, guidance, and capital enable us to help students, teachers, parents, and schools achieve great things.
