![]() With thousands of teachers signing up for the TenMarks math practice program, we've been receiving a few consistent questions on our support emails. Below are some of the most common questions and the responses - hopefully they'll help you solve your problems faster. Registration Questions
![]() The confirmation email has no link in it. It's empty.
We've been approached by a handful of teachers who've received a confirmation email that was "empty". Without the confirmation email and the link inside, you cannot move forward with the registration. Accessing TenMarks Questions
![]() Once I've created classes, how do my students log in?
Once you've registered your class, you'll receive a "Welcome Email" with all the usernames and passwords (for the teacher and the student accounts). You can also access this information by going to the "Manage" section of the teacher account, and clicking on "Print Class Information". You and your students can log into TenMarks by going to http://www.tenmarks.com and clicking on the blue "Member Log In" link on the top right corner of the page. (Remember: If you're already logged in on a computer, you may need to log out). ![]() I have all usernames and passwords but where do my students go to login and get the assignments I've sent to them?

You and your students can change passwords by clicking on "Settings" link on the top right corner of the home page. At any time, if you and your students can't recall a password, it can be requested by clicking on "forgot" on the login box. Managing My Account Questions
![]() How do I add more students to my class?
To add students to your class, to edit their names, or to enter their parent email address, please go to the "Manage" section of the teacher account. You'll see a button to add students, and "edit" links to change information. ![]() How do I delete a student from a class?
You can delete a student from a class by going to the manage tab in your account. Be careful though! Once deleted, the student data cannot be recovered. ![]() How do I delete a class? How about renaming it?
At this time, you can't delete a class from your account. However, we're happy to do it for you - please email support@tenmarks.com and let us know the name of the class to delete. You can always create a new class if you'd like. ![]() How do I remove a curriculum topic?
You can easily remove a curriculum topic, by going to the curriculum tab in your account. To delete a topic, click on x sign next to the topic. Assigning Work Questions
![]() How do I assign work? Can I assign different work for different students?
When you log in to your teacher account, you will be on your dashboard page. You should see your class list on that page. (If you have multiple classes registered, you'll see a drop down on the right, which will let you choose a class). To assign work to the entire class, do the following
e.g. Please do 20 questions on this topic.
Select an "Album" or a "Track" to assign. (e.g. Fractions is an Album. Dividing Fractions is a track). The name of the album / track will appear below the message box when you're done.
You will see a brief confirmation that says "your message has been sent" above the message box. Your message with the link to the assigned work has been sent to all students. You can use your dashboard page to assign work to the entire class. If you'd like to assign work to just one student, click on their name from the list, and follow the same process. ![]() How do I send my students a message?
To send a message to the entire class, type in your message in the box titled "Send a Message to Class" and hit Send. If you need to assign work, please see the topic above.
![]() Can students send me a message back?
Not yet. We may add this feature soon, but as of this time, the messages are from teacher to student only. ![]() Can I see the last few messages I've sent to my students?
Yes, by clicking on view sent messages on your dashboard you can view the last few messages you have sent to your students. ![]() I made an error in a message. Can I delete it?
On the View Sent Messages page, you are allowed to delete recently sent messages too. You can also access a quick start guide by clicking here. ![]() ![]()
